A rare antique American screw arm plow plane by R.W. Booth.  Very good condition, all parts including iron are original.  Plane body is beechwood; the wear strip dovetailed in the fence is boxwood.  Arms/nuts appear to be beechwood.  There is a stable crack on one of the outboard nuts, minor chipping on some threads and minor bruising on wedge.  Fence has a chip out of the interior of one corner.  Screw arms nuts turn freely and fully secure arms at desired setting.  Plane is fully functional and can be used as originally intended (iron requires sharpening/honing).  Makers mark imprint is visible on nose.  Pollak “American Wooden Planes”, 4th edition rarity rating:  2 stars (rare).
