An extremely rare antique American screw arm plow plane by G.W. Denison. Excellent condition save for some staining on the steel portion of the skate. All parts including the iron are original. Plane body is beechwood; arms and nuts are boxwood. Plane is fully functional and can be used as originally intended (iron requires sharpening/honing). Makers mark imprint is visible on nose of the plane as well as an original owner’s imprint. Pollak “American Wooden Planes”, 4th edition rarity rating: 4 stars (rare).
