Antique American handled screw arm plow plane by American plane maker A. Howland & Co. Very good condition, all parts including iron are original. Plane body is beechwood; arms/nuts/ are boxwood. Minor bruising on wedge; minor chips on screw arm threads. Slight chip on brass depth adjusting knob. Screw arms nuts turn freely and fully secure arms at desired setting. Plane is fully functional and can be used as originally intended (iron requires sharpening/honing). Makers mark imprint is visible on nose of plane.
