Maker: Hulings & Kemper, Cincinnati, OH; circa 1842 - 1860
A very rare moving fillister plane by Hulings & Kemper. Plane is fully functional (iron requires sharpening/honing). Plane body and fence is beechwood. Maker’s mark clearly visible on nose of plane. All parts/hardware are original. Overall very good condition with some minor bruising to top of wedge. Pollak “American Wooden Planes”, 4th edition rarity rating: 3 stars ( very rare).
