Maker: A. Inglis, Delhi, NY; circa 1850-1876
A rare antique American wedge plow plane by A. Inglis. Very good condition, all parts including irons are original. Plane body, arms and fence are beechwood. Minor bruising on wedge and the “ear” on one wedge has been chipped off but does not affect function of the wedges in securing the fence position. Some staining on skate. Plane is fully functional and can be used as originally intended (iron requires sharpening/honing). Makers mark imprint is visible as shown in nose photograph.
