Maker: E. Preston & Sons, Birmingham, England, circa 1894-1900
A rare wedge arm plow plane by British plane maker E. Preston & Sons. Plane is fully functional (iron requires sharpening/honing before use). Body is beechwood; fence and arms are boxwood. Maker’s mark clearly visible on nose of plane. All parts/hardware are original. Arms move freely and are adjusted with wedges. Overall very good condition with some minor dings from original use and some slight bruising to the top of wedge.
