A vintage #20 circular plane of the type made by Stanley from 1897-1958. Plane appears to be a Type 2 produced from 1909-1915. Original cast iron finish. Overall, this example reflects normal wear from original use including overall staining of the metal and some metal deterioration on the sole visible in the photograph of the sole. The plane is fully functional – iron needs sharpening/honing.
